Emily Nicole Cameron is a Boston-based stage director. She received her graduate degree in Theatre Directing from the Guildford School of Acting at the University of Surrey (UK), where she focused her research on the creation of atmosphere in a theatrical space. Prior to her graduate study, Emily earned a degree in English from Boston College.

Emily currently works as professor of theatre and communications. Teaching and research interests include acting technique, theatre history, Shakespeare & Elizabethan drama, and performance methods in communication.

On the stage, she is dedicated to exploring new genres and experimenting with new storytelling techniques. She also finds inspiration in realistic drama as well as stories that explore individual identity.
